What is the online classroom experience?
Each class has a small group format from 3 to 16 students. After signing up, you will receive an email with a link and details on how to join via Zoom. During the class, the tutor will use the course materials. The tutor will make sure that you interact with the materials and with the other students. Towards the end of the lesson, the tutor will recap, make sure that everyone has understood the lesson and received useful feedback.
Where are the classes held?
Classes (55 minutes) are held on the free Zoom video conferencing tool.
What kind of technology and materials do I need?
Spanish Together works on all major web browsers and we use Zoom for live meetings. You will need an Internet connection and the ability to stream audio and video (not required) to participate.
What if I'm late?
All classes will start on time. Students can cancel their registration up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the tutor can decide not to let them in so as not to interrupt the flow of the class in progress.
Can classes be cancelled?
Spanish Together may cancel a first class up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time in case there are not enough students (minimum 2) for the class to start.
What happens if I can't attend a class?
